Teaching Assistant 1-1

Kirton Academy

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Closing Date: 5th August 2024, 9am

Interview Date: 20Th August 2024

Ever growing in Academies and opportunities, our ethos focuses on delivering a first class education while raising aspirations and outcomes of all learners. We are seeking to recruit a versatile Teaching Assistant whose main responsibility will be to provide support to a specific student on a one to one basis to join Kirton Academy.

Experience is preferred but in-house training will be provided. Candidates must have a minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Mathematics and English.

Whilst we welcome applications from all suitable candidates, please consider that our interview process will require you to attend our Trust in person as we do not offer a remote interview process.

Lincolnshire Gateway Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in its academies. In line with our safer recruitment practices and statutory guidance on Keeping Children Safe in Education, all applicants must be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Additional pre-employment checks will also be carried out including online/social media check, satisfactory references and any other appropriate checks necessary in order to assess the suitability to work with children.

Term time + Inset days (195 days per year)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Full Time / Annual Salary: LGAT 5 - £22,978 pro rata – LGAT 7 - £24,030 pro rata
